Thami Tsolekile blog: "We managed to keep our cool"
We are into the semis and I couldn’t be more proud of my team. The Lions have had a tough season off the field but I thought the boys showed great maturity and calmness to pull off such a tight win against a very good Eagles team.
Before the game I would have taken 150 so to score 184 was great although sometimes, when you post such a big score, you have a tendency to think that the game is already won.
I have to give credit to Morne van Wyk because it looked as if his innings had maybe given his team the edge.
But luckily we managed to keep our cool to hang on.
One big plus that came out of the game was Richard Cameron’s performance. He is a real talent and he has been having a great year with the Strikers.
I would have liked to have seen him make his debut for us a bit sooner but to score quick runs and take a wicket with your first ball in Pro20 cricket is a fantastic way to start your career.
Richard looks as if he will be a huge asset to the Lions franchise.
Now we will have to take on the Titans in the semis. Anything can happen in a semi-final and hopefully we will have a bit of a psychological advantage because we beat them in the group stages.
They will also be missing Albie Morkel and Roelof van der Merwe, who both played in that match.
I think that winning the first match will be crucial because it will add to the pressure on the opposition. Hopefully we will be the team to get that first win.

Lions in semis!
Very Proud of you boys! make us even more proud by going all the way, giving us Joburgers a home final and a place in the Champions League T20. All the best!
