Road to the Semi's

The dates for the two Semi Final games have been revised due to logistical issues.

There is a Super 14 rugby game scheduled at Newlands on Saturday which is a reserve day for Cobras/Titans match. Therefore the match has been rescheduled to Sunday the 20th.

The other semifinal, the Dolphins/Eagles game will be on Friday the 18th at Kingsmead. Fridays match is a day/night game and will start at 18:00. Saturday will be their reserve day, starting at 14:30. Sunday's Cape Town game is a day game starting at 14:30. Should it go to over to Monday, the reserve day, it will be replayed at 18:00.

The Cobras are determined to win this game and ready for a fight for the last trophy available this season.

The Cobras CEO, Professor Andre Odendaal said:
“The Cobras have had a dream run-up to the semifinals, with six wins in three weeks and guaranteed home games if we go all the way. Five semis or more in a row in limited-overs cricket, show the Cobras are entertaining and a brand to be respected. But cricket is a funny game where the result can go either way. We need our fans, who are always a plus factor for the team at Sahara Park Newlands, to turn out in force behind the boys in blue and gold.”

The Dolphins didn't have a great start in the beginning of the tournament, however they have grown in self belief since and they definately have the potential to go all the way to the final after finishing 2nd in the round robin phase.

Dolphin CEO Cassim Docrat says: “The Nashua Dolphins have really made a good impression in the last few matches by reaching the semi-finals stage of the Standard Bank Pro20 Series. We are happy that things have gone so well, and we are optimistic that the team will be able to progress to the next stage."

For those of you that love the Pro20, don't you worry. The dunk tank, hard hats for fans, players in on-field dug outs and the children’s favourite mascot, Hardy will all be featured at both games.

Go Kaboom!
